The second day of our trip we traveled 10 more hours to Nauvoo... We rented a 6000 sq ft house they called the Nauvoo Mansion on the Hill, it was basically on the Mississippi river.

The house was 10 miles outside of Nauvoo, which was perfect because we got to travel a very beautiful road along the Mississippi to get to Nauvoo every day!
Once we got there we rushed into Nauvoo to do some Pioneer activities and watch the Nauvoo Pageant. I never knew that Nauvoo is basically ran by Missionaries. They were in charge of all of the Activities there.

Kel, awesome posts... what a fun trip! My parents and few siblings were actors in the Nauvoo pageant 2 summers ago. They say the same thing about how spiritual the whole Nauvoo experience is. Priceless. Good for you!!
